For the Mario Kart Debate
You know what, everyone has their own preference. There was a thread with voting for the best Mario Kart and it's a pretty close tie between Mario Kart 64, Wii, DS and 7. SNES was up there too, and DD wasn't too far off. The only really low scoring one was Super Circuit.
I personally love the N64 because of the track selection and because I don't feel the gameplay has evolved since that game. Also everything is unlockable with 2 players.
Mario Kart Wii would have gone up several spaces if all bonus material could have been unlocked with 2 players. Customizable 4 race runs is nice, but it's annoying not having all the karts some of my friends do.
Mario Kart DS could have been my favorite, I really love the tracks, but again no 2 player GP, and it's a handheld game. Mario Kart is best on a big screen so people can yell at it.
That said, I still play Mario Kart 64 today, as much as I play the Wii one in fact.
