I don't think the PS360 version of PES 08 will hurt the Wii version (much) since it's so totally different (and better!). Lots of people skip the minor yearly upgrades, but will be interested in trying out this version since it's the biggest leap in gameplay in some time.
Even a lot of people (like myself) who have not normally been interested in the game will want to try this.
