Wow, this article is terribly biased. He did not point out the Vita as dying a premature death. He said that as a general statement to ALL console manufacturers. His reason being that he thinks it is silly of them to not have gamer access between consoles and being closed off from each other.
I do have to say that I wish platforms were more open. I'd love to play multiplayer games cross-platform. Will not having inter-accessibility eventually hurt and kill these console manufacturers? I don't think so, but I do see in things changing in the future to be more open.
