Spain is Sonyland, it's probably one of the most pro Sony markets in the "first" world.

 

The saddest thing is PES dominance over Fifa, in a year where Fifa is a much better game.

Why the quotes?

I just can't see my country as a first world country in the videogames aspect. We don't have a developed videogames industry, tons of people only buy every iteration of PES, huge piracy ratio... In this aspect I see Spain as a third world country

Actually, Spain has a video game market VERY similar to Brazil's.

Except that, maybe things are changing in the last years. X360 is becoming more popular, but PS3 still is huge among non-pirate gamers.

But 90% of people that have a VG is for PES / Fifa.

Pretty much what Onibaka said, youd be amazed by how many diferent iterations of FIFA and PES (called Winning Eleven in Brazil) the casual Brazillian gamer have (Im Brazilian btw). Nonetheless the non soccer games sell well over here too, I read somewhere GOW III is suposed to have sold around 200k copies lifetime wich is almost nothing when you consider there are 200 million inhabitants on Brazil but is quite expressive when you consider that GOW III has sold little more tham 4 million woldwide to this day. I supose things are more or less the same in Spain.
