I was at Target probably a week after the game released with my family... and we were Christmas shopping for one another. Target had the Wii game at 39.99, so I pointed this out to my brother... and just like that my brother found me the perfect Christmas gift. 
So yes, Rayman Origins has been bought... but it's nestled under the Christmas tree. 
Also, I wonder if Damon Hatfield will write an article about how Super Mario 3DLand outsold Rayman Origins...
