Don't get what you mean by that. Are you saying Japanese devlopers are trying to focus on name brands like Dragon Quest and Monster Hunter, and that most new IP's are trying to be similar in structure?

If so I don't agree, Altus makes fairly popular games in Japan, and all of their games are very new experiences
