Wii U will need to be priced right to compete against: XBox 360 and PS3. The Wii's lack of power under its hood has slowed down its sales in the last year or two.
Nintendo needs an upgrade to the Wii as soon as possible in order to compete against both Sony and Microsoft. The price of the Wii U will more than likely in the $300 to $400 price range.
