My old roommate had one and I got to play some goodies like Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resident Evil 5... but that was 2008. It's been a while (understatement), and I really want to play LittleBigPlanet 1/2 and the Uncharted series. In fact, I'm going to make my New Years Resoultion to finally play those games!

As for ExciteBike... you're probably right. It isn't that special anyways.

Hey! Excitebike was awesome for its time, it just hasn't held up well.  

And Resident Evil 5 is on 360 as well.  you know what?  Drop 200 bucks and get a PS3, at this point there's a LOT of great stuff you can get that you can't get anywhere else.  And by the sounds of it Sony is planning on supporting it for another 4-5 years, so there'll still be plenty of stuff for you to do and pick up even if you're not too keen on pickingup the next PS within the first year of its life.
