Huge losses of Soviets were good thing for postwar development, and FDR/Churchill were playing their pocker game very nice. USA traded with the both parties and recovered from the Depression and at the end gained all the Pacific and Western Europe under control. I just can't see why someone should give credit to USSR about their losses, as they were enemy from the very beginning even back then before WW2.
