Well, I think it's a step up from what Rising originally was because all they based the game on was cutting stuff, they didn't know what else to do and they even cancelled the game at a time because they had no idea what to do with the game. That's when Platinum Games came to the rescue, they rewrote the script in just 2 months instead of the 10 it took them at first and remade the game to be a full action focused game that takes place after MGS4. There'd be no MGRising if it wasn't for them.
I remember Raiden still had some sort of marks on his body as if it wasn't really flesh/skin but some sort of human-looking body parts that aren't really human limbs. Sort of what some people who lose their arms use.
Maybe he just put back his cyborg parts on... or maybe, if he was human again, then he just became a cyborg again :P
Are you sure that cyborg dude is Vamp? he sort of looks like him but I don't know... anyways, he was also supposed to be dead after MGS2 but he appeared alive in 4, that could happen again.
After watching that trailer, I got so hyped about this game, I wasn't really waiting for it before.... but this looked so awesome I'm now going to buy it :P I wonder if there's still going to be a PC version because if that's the case, then I'm probably going to buy 1 copy for PS3 and another one for PC to play it at 60 FPS, 1920x1080, 8xAA, etc.
