uhm.....no. Just no. Sony has tremendous no. of games releasing. Its obvious they will have more in delays than others. Even then, lets take a look: Last of us is dev by naughty dog. Naughty dog has already made a fantastic engine. So their work is half done for them. They have never delayed a game this gen. Already released two games this gen. Its pretty obvious last of us is not going to be releasing more than two years from now. Its releasing on the ps3 after all. Even killzone 3 was released on time. Every game delayed was announced at the beginning of the PS3 gen. Also splinter cell conviction was delayed as well. |
Oh I agree Sony has released more for the PS3 then Nintendo has for the Wii, and MS for the 360. Just saying, lots of the upcoming games in the OP are only Projects, might not even be PS3 games, and that just because a studio has a game confirmed, doesn't mean you should expect it soon (as in 2011).
I'm using the point that Sony often doesn't release games they announced within 2 years as a reference so the thread author doesn't make it to seem like all those PS3 exclusives (mainly the no name projects) are 2011 titles.
Naugty Dog also is one of Sony's Studios who releases games within 2 years. I would be surprised if it wasn't a fall 2011 title, hence I said PS3 will go out with a bang.
Your point about every delayed game on PS3 being an game announced at the beginning of the PS3 gen is false. Games like Last Guardian were originally suppose to be released years ago, but LittleBigPlanet 2 is fairly new was also delayed until 2011. I would be surprised if Sony releases all 4 of those announced games in 2011, and you can't count projects as 2011 titles.
4 games isn't that much for a full year, but then again Nintendo is doing no better. (But Nintendo is releasing a new console to be fair), and MS also has a small announced lineup. The gen is ending (hopefully).
Splinter Cell was delayed, your right, but that's not a MS first party game.
