You have dissproved nothing if you bothered to read the actual job listing rather than the spin "Microsoft Game Studios is a leading worldwide publisher and developer of games for the Xbox 360™ including Kinect, the Windows® operating system, Mobile and Online platforms." "Comprising a network of top internal and external developers," "including such games as the “Halo®” franchise now under 343 Industries®, “Gears of War”, Kinect® under the “Good Science®” Studio, “Fable®,” the “Forza Motorsport™” franchise, BigPark Vancouver, Games for Windows Live and MSN® Games http://www.games.msn.com), the official games channel for the MSN network and home to such hits as “Bejeweled” and “Hexic®.” " Not exactly evidence of a AAA core action game focus at all. Then there is the fact they call Ryse a AAA "core game" (which should give you a good idea of what they actually mean when they say core or AAA) just like they called Gunstringer and Rise of Nightmares "core" games so expect more "core" Kinect games not traditional action games or RPGs. And don't let "Shooter and Action-Adventure" fool you into thinking they won't be for Kinect, Gunstringer is a shooter and Ryse is an action adventure game.
So depending how you define casual (low level of violence/"kiddy" vs shallow accessable games, I have seen both used often) his statement was 50-100% right and your responce proved nothing.
And before you jump me I have no problem with so called casual games in fact I play several of them they are great fun in small bursts, but let's not kid ourselves as to what MS are focusing on.
