Agreed, but they would have earlier ruined it with a 299$ to 349$ SD compatible price point. It looks like they offer the Vita at 249$ because of the high mark up on those cards.

But the games require the card which is horrible. Plus as most have said, 16-32 GB are minimum requirements since save file is not on the game card!
And well I ain't that bothered because their was only one reason I would've bought a Vita for, and that reason was Monster Hunter. Capcom made it much easier for me :P

Thats pure propanganda, lol. Save file requires very low amount of space. On 1 GB you can have hundreads of them. More then 4 GB is only needed if you intend to purchase your game digitally.

fai enogh then.. but how come most people on VGC want 16-32 GB memory cards?

Personally im buying a 32 GB because I will put dozens of mp4 files, hundreads of mp3 files. Ill also purchase most games digitally as well as apps. If "most people" here said they would purchase a 16-32 GB (which I doubt, source?), they want to do the same kind of utilisation I will do. If you purchase games at retail and want to use solely as a gaming system you will never even fill 4 GB.
