So after Famitsu confirmed sales in Japan are around 217k for the month, It looks like the 3DS will end the year with a bang! The DS holds the record of the biggest December with 1.7 million in 2005 and 1.3 million in 2006. What do you think the 3DS will sell?
The 3DS has had MK7 and SM3D Land released which will both sell well during the course of the holidays. MH3G releases this Saturday which should boost further sales and Inazuma releases on the 15th. It also just got the long awaited update that allows you to record 3D videos. All in all it looks like an amazing package right now!
I predict around 1.25 million:
300k (MH3G week) +280k (Inazuma week)+ 470k (week ending 25th december) + 200k (1st January)= 1.25 million.
