The system could make it close to 16 million units by the end of the fiscal year (31 March 2012). I could see Nintendo selling around 4 million units between 26 November and the end of January, putting the console at around 13 million units. After that, anything's possible. It all depends on how the PS Vita impacts the 3DS sales, if at all, and if they can continue to generate upwards momentum in the US. Reports from the UK indicate very strong momentum there.
