Releasing a system rushed way before it should be released, their gonna suffer some losses at first, but they'll thank themselves later on for it though.

Same way M$ got a head start from the ps3. Same way the 3DS has a head start against the PSVita.

What is this “rushed” you speak of?

WiiU is coming right on time as consoles stay on the market 5-6 years before the successor comes and Wii will have been out for about 5 and a half years before WiiU comes out.

WiiU will not come without the U-pad as it is the soul of the console itself just like the Wiimote was the soul of Wii.

I am thinking that it will come packed with both WiiU-pad and a WiiMote actually plus a game like WiiSports to show of what it can do using both methods separately and with both of them together.

I’m expecting it to cost 300-350 and that is a very good price and they might take a loss of about 20-100 dollars on each but not more.

The GC failed because it was just an upgraded graphics console that people could play on PS2 already. It had nothing new other than the games of course. At that time if the console had released first and with all the 3rd party games that came to PS2 came instead to GC it would have done a lot better.

People say WiiU is taking the same steps as GC but actually it’s not as it has a new gaming interface for home consoles and the appeal to both casual and hardcore.
