The Vita's pre-orders are lacking! Is this going to be a problem for Sony?

The PSVita launch lineup is actually pretty good especially if you compare it to other handhelds in the past including the 3DS.

It's more like the hardware that it uninteresting.

People don't just buy hardware because the hardware is good. People buy hardware based on games. PSV doesn't have any significant games at launch, so it will have low sales. The same thing happened to the 3DS - it's launch games were nothing spectacular.

 

The 3DS now has some amazing games out, and is consequently getting good sales. The PSV has until December 2012 to get some good, popular games if it wants to compete.
