I'm not sure how much profit they can actually make on a DD sale, but seeing how Remedy spent ~7 million on Alan Wake before Microsoft came into the picture, I can think we're realistically looking at a 12-16 million dollar production budget, so in theory 1.5 million sales in total (Retail and Download combined) could in the end make them a profit.

As for tracking digital sales, I'm with Kowenicki, I truly understand they're not tracking several things for consistency reasons, and i respect that, but if you can track something, in my mind you should track it otherwise you're just diminishing game sales because you can't track others.

But i do understand, so hopefully in the future, we'll somehow get more insight Digital Downloads one way or another.
