Everyone please back away from any bridges you may be about to jump off of.

A) This rumor is complete BS
B) 768MBytes of eDRAM would destroy any processor on the planet, but the chip would be almost 15 square centimeters (yes centimeters, not millimeters).
C) Even if this rumor had a grain of truth to it, it's far more likely that the amount of eDRAM should be 768 Mbits, not bytes. This equals 96MB, which is a much more reasonable amount. Also, this is just the embedded memory (i.e. L3 cache) and not the system memory.

But, all in all, this rumor is laughable at best.
