So who anyone who has been following the US Republican Party's leadership race knows of the big screw up known as Herman Cain. The politician really screwed up many times showing his ignorance to US foreign policy a lack of knowledge of politics and most importantly had a sex scandal.
The man was a major farce to politics but it would appear he at least had a tad of intelligence. He chose to use Pokemon as a political tool. After admitting defeat and pulling out of the Republican race he admitted to using Pokemon quotes in multiple speech. He finally admitted to one of his biggest speeches actually coming from Pokemon 2000.
"I believe these words came from the Pokémon movie," Cain said. "Life can be a challenge. Life can seem impossible. It's never easy when there's so much on the line. But you and I can make a difference. There's a mission just for you and me." Previously Cain had claimed that the quote came from a work of poetry, admitting today that Pokemon actually played a role in his campaign and not some poetry.
In the end maybe the man wasn't all bad, I mean he obviously had great taste in video games and applied Pokemon to his platform. Maybe he should have used other famous quotes from other movie and game franchises. He should have ended his concession speech with "I'll be back" lol.
Whats your thoughts is this a horrible thing or sorta awesome? Should more politicians use gaming culture in their platforms? Which other famous games and quotes could be applied to politics?
