Where would the World be without America?

I think we would look at a pretty similar world technology wise, we could've had 1-3 world wars in the sence of WW 1 and WW 2, British Dominion over its colonies would've lasted longer, Mexico would be a lot larger and Northern America would have more than 3 Countries, There would have been a lot more continental wars on the current territory of the USA... humm I think the French Revolution would have been the huge parting of our two worlds, with it being successfull but Napoleonic France failing to defend itself against early invaders, being Austria and Spain.

For my recent Another World History Book:

There would never be a germany and only Austria, Prussia and Bavaria, maybe 2 or three smaller german states. The first world war would've been a huge war against the Austrian crown in 1922, the rebels were supported by Russia and the reinstituted French crown, Austrian Allies would be Prussia, Spain and to a smaller extend the Ottomans, the war would end with a reinstituition of Poland and a Jugoslawia of small size not including Croatia ending 1925.

The second world war would be started through smaller border conflicts between France and the newly found Italy in 1932, were France asked the Britians for help and Italy, Austria, offering Austria to seize claim on Italian speaking regions of Austria, Austria failing at sufficiantly supporting Italy then asks Prussia and Bavaria to join the war, Soviet Russia then (late1933) joins the war as third faction claiming parts of Prussia as their territory. The Netherlands having a defensive pact with Prussia then joins the war against Russia. Prussia somehow is able to fend of the Russian invadors and restore peace at their easterns front in late 1934, while Austria, Bavaria and Italy fail to defend the Northern part of Italy and the western Parts of Austria against the French-British armies. Great Britian tough, has to pull back some of its armies due to unrest in a lot of the crown colonies, mainly the american ones. Bavaria, in a smart move to enlarge their country then betrays Austria and Prussia invading the frontlines from behind, again the Netherlands are forced to join the war though now being hindered by French troops to help out the Prussians. In a smart diplomatic move Austria offers a little of its territory to get Jugoslavia to join the war on their side and then finally being able to drive back the french forced from the North Italy and Western Austria and the "Middle-Axis" fully occupies Bavaria in 1936. Later the same year a huge nationalist uprising was shut down by the powers from Jugoslavia and Austria, Jugoslavia then leaves the war, gaining smaller amounts of Austias territory claiming they fullfilled their bargain. France now also has big internal Problems, giving the Italian forces the chance to against them, occupying smaller parts of south eastern france. Austria and Prussia are no longer able to support a war and keep the occupation of Bavaria upright offer france a peace treaty in early 1938, allowing France and Italy to keep all their initial territory but dissolving Bavaria as a sovreign country, splitting its Territories between Austria and Prussia, while Munchen keeps a small part of its sovreignity becoming a vassal to Prussia. Thus ending World War II at March 18 1938, the italians, not happy about the outcome and the decision of Austria and Prussia to offer a peace treaty without their consent also signs the contract. In 1939 smaller countries declare independance from Great Britian in the American colonies, Great Britian still not regenerated after the second World War has no other choice to offer them independancy under a special contract allowing the King/Queen of Great Britian to still be their King/Queen installing the Otherworld Commonwealth of Nations. In a domino effect more countries want independence in the sence of the commonwealth, finally disassembling the British Crown collonies and their once huge empire into an Island Nation in Europe. All European countries have to face large rebellions in 1940 where the masses demand a constitution and right to set their own rules, bringing down the crown of Austria (1940), France(1941) and Portugal (1941), while a lot of colonies still starving for independence rise against their european rulers. Prussia loses control over its colonies in Africa in 1942 and the Netherlands and Spain lose most of their colonies in the years between 1943 and 1948. A big uprising of basks in 1944 in France and Spain causes the Creation of a Bask Nation supported by the Britians. The Britians actually hoped to gain control over the region but ultimately failed in making the Bask Nation a vassal of their crown. The Republic of Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Slovakia and Croatia (short ACHSCR) fails to find a political consense between the parties representing the nations inside the Republic causing it to fall apart in peace, leaving only a Defensive and Economical Treaty, which will later be joined by Italy (1970), Jugoslavia(1990) and Switzerland(2000) and some of the Scandinavian countries. The Commonwealth of Nations breaks appart after the Declearance of the Irish and Scottish Independance in 1968, allowing several Countries in America to be able to form Alliances of their own ending in the establishment of several bigger Nations that would fight for several years among each other, finally signing a eternal peace treaty in 1993 because of Mexicos being able to expand several times because of the war weakened North American Nations, in 1998 Mexico is no longer able to sustain its territories causing several parts of its territory to be lost to one of the 8 remaining North American Nations and breaking apart into 2 Nations.

Wouldn't that be an alternative that really is bloody and would also have a lot of deaths?

Oh, there is no atomic bomb in the alternative world ;P
