Can the Wii and Wii U Coexist like the PS2/PS3 and DS/3DS have?

The majority of people buying at that price won't be the kind that gets consoles at launch or in it's first couple of years.

I could see Wii going into 2014. Yes, that's right, I said it. 2014.
