I guess it must be because these are launch titles and many developers just ported their PSP games to Vita, but as time goes by, more and more will develop with the PSVita in mind and take advantage of it... or that's what I hope. Imagine if Square-Enix released FF Type-0 on the Vita but instead of being a port of the PSP version at a higher resolution, it was remade with better graphics, better textures, more effects, etc, and looked almost like a PS3 game :O. |
High quality graphics aren't cheap to make, and a lot of the teams showing their games for Vita are small developers. Chances are they don't have an insanely big budget.
