A note regarding Xenoblade: Chronicles:
It seems Nintendo has decided to mess with our Game of the Year awards by announcing that Xenoblade: Chronicles will be releasing in North America sometime in early 2012. Now while we realize that this is a hotly anticipated title for the Wii we must stress that votes for Xenoblade: Chronicles in the 'Most Anticipated Wii Game' category will NOT be counted. The reason for this is that by allowing it to be nominated in that category will remove it from contention in the 'Best RPG' category as well as any of the overall Game of the Year awards.
