I don't think it was just this one deal falling through so much as the fact that their last two games were pretty tepidly received and didn't sell so hot. Fracture moreso than F.E.A.R. 3, although fuck Warner Bros. for allowing anyone other than Monolith to even touch F.E.A.R.
