Michael Jordan came out to Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals against the Utah Jazz, scored 38 points, and did it all while suffering from the flu! Truly the greatest athlete of the 20th century. |
That is nothing compared to Mario Lemeiux of the Penguins, who back in 1993 was diagnosed with Hogkin's Lymphoma and on the final day of his radiation treatment boarded a plane, went to the game, played against the Flyers and scores a goal and an assist.
Playing with the flu is nothing compared to playing with cancer while also feeling the effects of radiation treatment.
Anyways, as for the topic at hand, I love this scene from Breaking Bad Season 4.
