DélioPT said: I think the first of a lesson learnt was they revealed that 3rd parties got to know Wii U sooner than ever. By that, not only does Nintendo offer 3rd parties time to make games but also shows a gesture of really being open. I too think that Bit.Trip creators have dev kits, which is rather surprising and points too Nintendo wanting more devs to bring games sooner to the market and in more quantity! What the Wii needed!

That first paragraph. I just realized after reading it that I have been hearing about a lot of Devs who have the Wii U (rumored). Third Party of course. That is really good news not that you mention it! I hope the games they put out are really good since they are so ahead of the ball now. Maybe this really will be the turning point for 3rd party developers for Nintendo consoles!

Not only does it show Nintendo is more open than ever, but as you said, it does give 3rd parties time to invest on Wii U and create good games.
I don`t remember where i read this, but someone was of the opinion that by having Bit.Trip developers get their hands on Wii U dev kits so soon, it means that Nintendo is not only preparing 3rd parties for retail games, but also for their online structure. That is a good point of view and makes perfect sense!
