OK I forgot about Madden. That perennial will always sell regardless. Though the Wii version will be a system seller too for obvious reasons.
To clear things up I'm not downplaying XBox 360 library quality. It's certainly better than Sony's lineup and I've been waiting on Shadowrun since SNES. I don't think big games. I think system moving games. Expanding games.
GTA IV is another mover. So I revise my statement.
Halo 3, Madden 08, GTA IV...the XBox 360 killers.
Madden's more in the summer anyhow but I put him in.
The other games will make great sales but how much can they expand the system to new users? That's my point.
And see there's something you don't understand. Metroid Prime 3 is like Zelda after launch fever. Not a system mover. It's a blockbuster but not a major system mover. Wii Health Pack is a system mover. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a system mover. Super Mario Galaxy is a system mover.
I'm thinking of the software that can inspire buyership of the hardware.
Actually I take that back. If MP3 does as good a job in first-person as is planned then that too will bring in the curious to see if Wiimote/Nunchuck beats mouse/keyboard. So that too would be a system seller under that context.
