What a load of crap, it's a bomb because you remember it being hyped, never mind the sales or that it's getting a sequel or that it almost definitely made Sony money, still a bomb.  LBP2 can be a bomb if you're comparing it to how the first did, but MNR has no such comparison.  How can a game that made the studio money and got a sequel be considered a bomb?

Why does the metascore for the PSP version matter if you don't care about it for the PS3 version?  I'm perfectly willing to admit that the PSP version wasn't as good, and never said otherwise, I only mentioned it in response to your claim that the PS3 version bombed.  Now are you willing to recognize that MNR was actually a great game and just as good as Mario Kart Wii?

Definitely not. If it was, sales would have followed, which they obviously didn't.

The game bombed and I don't know why that's so hard for you to admit. It's been in the market for almost 2 years and still hasn't sold 1 million copies. That's a bomba if I've ever seen one. Mario Kart does that in half a day! You also keep saying the game make money, I would like to see some evidence to back up your claim.

You brought up the PSP version of the game, so accept the fact that it was mediocre and not even worth mentioning in the same sentence as Mario Kart.

Everything that doesn't sell as well as Mario Kart is not a bomb, that's a ridiculous standard.  A new IP sold 870k and got a sequel, I don't accept it being a bomb because it isn't.

because they're making a sequel, that's the clearest sign that it made money.  Unless you can prove that they'd want to continue the franchise even if it never made them money then that is pretty clear evidence.

Already said it wasn't as good, 7.2 is a good score, and I never played the game so I'd call it good (not mediocre) but no not the same quality as Mario Kart DS.  Can you put your bias aside and say that MKWii and MNR are of similar quality based on the same evidence?
