??? He didnt give a reason, thats the point. THe last i heard of it, is "we are watching Europe closely" thats not a reason, thats weasling around the subject. If he had the balls to come out and just say, I dont think those games would sell, fine. Price cut?? Im a consumer, that decision was made by people higher than Reggie, I wouldnt expect him to have any say on it and its a price cut, why would i want an explanation. Yes If Reggie said no comment a lot more I WOULD be happy.

I'll say why i dont care for him, he talks trash, cant really back it up. IT seems to me like he is just a puppet. He reminds of one of those hype men in those rockandor rap groups. No real talent just sucking of the power teat at the time.

Japan expects Reggie to talk up their products and support their directions. Talking down competitors products is just something a VP is supposed to do. You don't hear Pepsi saying good things about Coke, you don't see Disney saying amazing things about Dreamworks or Walmart about Target. Yes Japan definitly expects him to trash talk its part of the job when you hire someone to market a product.

As for peripheral, you keep calling them peripherals but that isn't how Microsoft views Kinect at all. I said Motion+ isn't a peripheral because it isn't, if it is then Rumble in your PlayStation 3 controller and 360 controller is a peripheral. I mean it was Rumble pack on the 64 and there for its a peripheral, just because its in the hardware doesn't make it other wise.

What has Reggie said "have launched their movement devices, once the initial excitement, where are the games, cool experiences? They have been slow in putting this into practice." Look he wasn't commenting on console or peripheral he was talking motion control devices. I'm sorry you take so much offense to this but its true Microsoft and Sony have been slow to provide the quality software for their motion control devices that Nintendo has.

I'm looking for the old quotes from E3 2005. I remember Peter Moore talking about how 360 provided the classic games Nintendo didn't. I just can't seem to find the exact qoute was a long time ago. Sony said similar things about classic controls. But I didn't see the Nintendo fans freaking out saying "Classic Controller" is just a peripheral.

The companies heads are saying facts about their products to promote there products over the competition. If they were actually horrificly innaccurate I think Sony and Microsoft's heads would be irrate and responding constantly. But they don't because they know its true just like Nintendo knows they lack the classic games that Microsoft and Sony have.

Umm Reggie did say all that needed to be said but did it as politically as possible. His full sentence said "We will be watching very closely what happens in Europe. Certainly if there are business opportunities and positive consumer uptake from some of those titles, that will be great data for us to consider as we look at what to do with these titles." If there are business opertunities. Basically at the moment there is not business oppertunities if their is a positive consumer uptake from some of those titles that will be great data for us to consider.

Also note Reggie never made a final decision there. He never said the titles aren't coming and recently stated Zelda wasn't the last major Wii game. Meaning these titles could still make it.

As for the whole why the game came to NOE, I don't need to repeate myself again. Their are plenty of reasons for them to come to NOE and not NA. Then I again didn't say Reggie was completely blameless in the decision rather that he likely wasn't the final say that was Nintendo themselves.

Finally if it was his decision it was the smart one. You piss off what 200K potential customers a little but you save money and aren't taking a risk you know won't pay off. Porting a title with as little potential as 40K and as much as 200K is not worth it. You would barely break even if you did at all. It would be a bad business decision and those 200K angry customers aren't likely going to abandon Nintendo over the issue and if they did they are a very small amount of the consumer base that is more then happy with the decisions Nintendo has made.

I use Mother so much because it is so old. If I use a game less then a decade old like Animal Forest or Custom Robo(64) or Giftpia you probably have no idea what I'm talking about. Look at SNES, N64, GameCube at how many games were never brought to America its been going on forever and Nintendo has always explained that the titles just don't sell well in North America. Any that they think will later on make it to North America (Advance Wars, Animal Crossing (GC) and Custom Robo (GC)) but others remain in Japan.

Its funny other then Mother and Operation Rainfall I don't seem to recall this kind of anger over the dozens of games Nintendo never brought to NA in the past? Before Reggie became NOA President. Is it only the JRPG fans that seem to get their panties in a bunch over this issue?

I think you could save alot of time by just saying you love Reggie and to hell with who doesnt. I never liked Reggie ever, and no amount of text you could write will change that. Disney? Coke? The difference is they DONT talk shit about the comp. and they dont tell outright lies. 

You're acting like Motion+ was always with the Wiimote, thats crap. It WAS a peripherial, you had to buy it seperately, does that not make it a periphierial? I had to buy mine seperatly. ANd guess what when it was in that form it got CRAP support. ANd MS can call Kinect what it wants, commom sense would tell you its wrong. Its not a standalone device, so how is it not a peripherial? Rumble in PS controllers?? Are you okay? Its built INTO the controller. Kinect not built, Motion+ was not.

So you're just eating Reggie's BS up. Where are the games?? Sony alone has released more games for their Move this year than Ninty has probably released for Wii and DS combined. Likewise MS, Both devices have been out for a year or more and they have more titles than any periphirial that Ninty put out. Even if what he said was true(it isnt), its still the pot calling the kettle black. "where are the games that use Motion+ Reggie, hell where are the games period, Reggie"

Its only JRPGS, because maybe just maybe, thats an actual popluar genre in the US?? SHocking!! WHich is why when Reggie or anyone else says those titles will not sell, its BS. ANd Reggie did not answer anyone. WHy do you eat everything he feeds you, that was just a fancy way of saying wait and see. Why not just say YEs or No?? Thats what we want. "Are the games coming, Reggie?" If they are say they are, if there not just say so, stop jerking people around. ANd if he does not have the authority, just grow a pair and say, "Sorry guys i dont know, im just a puppet" I would have more respect for him if he said anyone of those things.
