Skyrim Issues? Duh, of course, but has the smoking gun finally been found?

Just passed the 6MB threshhold and I am experiencing lag sometimes. However, when this happens I just stop moving my character and give the game a few seconds to catch up. After that it is usually pretty smooth sailing.

I wanted to ignore the game for a few more days but just couldn't.

Skyrim is great times when you have a real good buzz going on. Even more so when you go into 3rd person and see your character and/or horse climbing vertically up a mountain side.
