I didn't mean to offend you. The initiative is great. I just think you might need to look for more reasons behind the slumping forums.
I haven't really been active for a long time myself either, but that is not directly because of the new users. Sure it was a lot more fun back in the old days, but i wage there are many reasons for that.
I do hope that you'll help improve the place and get it whipped back into shape :P It would be a good thing for all.
