I have MW3 for the PS3, and I love it. I played MW, WaW, and MW2 (was in Iraq from nov 10 to nov11 so I skipped Black Ops)

Yes the basic premise is the same. 6 on 6 battles where their are multiple goals. You can have a shitty match and win, you can lose but still get to use some sweet killstreaks, the leveling system is very rewarding, even if I lose and have a shitty match at least a unlocked the new sight for my M4, right. You can prestige until you have a couple weeks of gametime or you can stop at lvl 80 and try to get all the challeges. The game changes alot more than say Madden. The only thing that really remains from MW to MW3 is the core formula. All the other stuff is different. All the COD game play differently. MW broke in the formula, it was frag happy an relied on quick reflexes. WaW had Nazi zombies, tanks, and massive stages, the game was slower paced. MW2 really broke the killsteaks to the forefront it had Nukes.... the stages ranged from large zones like in WaW and Quick twitch. Did not play BO. MW3 feel more like MW in stage design. No massive stages where the game feels slow. Very rare for a game to end by reaching the max time. Weapon cust is hugely upgrade and the strike packages a great evolution of the COD killsteak system. The key thing that keeps this franchis growing is this. MW=WaW<<<MW2<MW3. They are using the same formula but are making changes for each version that make the game feel like it plays differently. I would say I prefer the stages in MW2 more the 3(3s stage are still very very good), but the strike packages system, and greatly expanded weapon customiztion system put 3 above 2.

There is no reason for them to revamp the COD gameplay. If I wanted a different experiance I would play Halo, Killzone, Resistence, etc.

Now, I do have a Wii also, and I am going to have to step away from MW for a bit because I love me some Zelda, and it sound like SS is the Zelda I have been waiting for since OoT.
