Well for me software sales is more important than Hardware but it would also a nice to see PS3 outselling 360 because I am PS3 bias. XD
Anyway, I want the games that I want to sell well. It will ensure my favortie games or series to have a sequel. If it didn't sell well then no seuquel so yeah I care a lot about software sales.
To sum it all up. I care about software too much because it will affect my future enjoyment in games.
