As for what they need to do to succeed:
- Obviously price is the biggest thing. If they want a guaranteed commercial success then $299 is the way to go, but I could see having 2 SKUs...The cheaper one at $299 and the pricier one at $349 or even $399 if the difference is drastic enough.
- Launch games. Get an Uncharted game and GT6 there at launch and people will have a reason to buy the PS4.
- Good advertising. Put out an epic Kevin Butler commercial or something, no stupid commercials like PS3 had early on.
- Sell it at a damn profit. If PS4 loses money like the PS3 did then I don't see there being a PS5.
