Rockstar266 said: there multiplatform games and uncharted is a new ip this gen cod isn't and elder scrolls sold that on both consoles it got easily outsold on the ps3
and did you forget uncharted keeps selling more and more each installment? uncharted 3 should end up with around 6-7m sold, but calling a game that is longer "better" is just a joke because your comparing apples to oranges

How does those games being multiplatform and "old" IPs change my arguement in any way? I'm saying that people will rather buy Skyrim or Modern Warfare over Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 is a smaller franchise than those two, no matter how you look at it.
You really can't tell a pattern from TWO games, there is no pattern yet. I have no doubts that Uncharted 3 will sell more than Uncharted 2, but saying that "uncharted keeps selling more and more each installment" when you are only basing this on Uncharted 2 selling more than Drake's Fortune, is stupid. And there is more content, you can't deny that. You get more bang for your buck by buying Skyrim than Uncharted 3. Gamers do choose between games, them being apples and oranges doesn't matter mean that the apple crowd will only buy apples and the orange crowd will only buy oranges.

thats your opinion one which i happen to disagree with, there are no online modes in skyrim and no split screen if that isn't your thing well thats awesome but that doesn't mean its the same for others
the same goes for your comment on CoD i happen to like the gameplay mechanics in uc more than CoD and its also possible that others feel the same, but the way you're speaking its as if all or the vast majority of people should fall into your expectations in terms of tastes in games, however, the world doesn't work like that

On a pure content level there is more stuff in Skyrim, you can keep playing for much longer before treading old ground, that is not an opinion. Yes, you can play the same multiplayer maps over and over again, but you can do the exact same with Skyrim, you can play the game over a couple of times, spend a good 1000 hours on it.
I love how you're talking about my taste when I don't even like CoD, I'm a fan of Uncharted. Yes, some people feel that way, most don't. How do I know? idk, I found some sales numbers on some strange site. Who woulda thunk?
