I'm around the same age as you (29, will be 30 in July) and I grew up on the NES (had a Atari 2600 before NES though). Nintendo has shown me no reason to even think twice about abandoning them. I am probably even more interested in their games than when I was younger. I used to buy a lot more third party games for the 8, 16, 32/64 bit eras. I find myself less and less interested in 3rd party titles and more excited for Nintendo games.
