I can't get the numbers to add up so I'm guessing the comparisons being used here are ignoring the DS's staggered European launch or something. *shrug*. I think one thing to take from this is that the DS really didn't sell all that great until the DS lite remodel... or that the PSP, DS and 3DS all started really well, depending on your perspective. |
The PSP at 37 weeks was 3,858,928. Way below the DS. PSP Numbers are from Auguest 20th 2005. The DS did outsell the PSP in its first year by a little over a million. The PSP did a little under 10 million in its first year
@Machina I plan to do this again but also with yoy sales for 3DS as well
