Is the death penalty a good idea?

Against it.
1. There is always chance that innocent people are convicted and even one innocent people receiving death by his goverment is one too many.
2. It actually cost more money for tax payers than life in jail.
3. Like some have pointed out it really doesn't work as deterrent against crime.
