The monitor has volume control, but that doesn't help in this case.
Even when I mute the monitor tThere comes no sound out of the laptop's headphone jack any more.
I'm hoping there's an option somewhere in the settings (Windows Vista btw...) that will me allow to use the headphone jack again, but I can't find what I'm looking for.
