Online version of SSFII coming to Virtual Console

I'm sorry if im coming across as getting worked up, im not.  I just didnt know what this x-band was or what it had to do with online. Im going with they are porting the game or touching the rom I seriously doubt Ninty is updating the emulator this late in the game.  I just feel Capcom is going to pull another Mvs.C3, lets release the inferior version of the game and later on we'll release the version that should have been released in the first place. X-band was the first thing that allowed network play on consoles.  I just couldn't remember if it was Genesis only.

Really?? How come they never implemented network play on Genesis then???
