Well Gran Turismo 4 released end of life on PS2, and I don't think Polyphony Digital want Forza to remain best racing game/sim of the 7th generation.
I think it will come out for the PS3, but for a Spring 2013 release, right at the end of PS3's lifespan (I think PS4 will release in fall 2013)
