The Chargers should be ashamed of themselves though.  I have nothing nice to say about their performance.  There was no effort on their part.  That "I'm claiming that I didn't see the ball play" by Vincent Jackson had to be seen to be believed.

Carson Palmer shocked me by playing as well as he did.   It was the best that I've seen him play since probably his 2nd or 3rd season.  Maybe the change of secenery will help him. 

Yeah, Palmer played exceptionally well. Until his interception he even had a perfect QB rating. I hope your Bears take the Lions seriously, because I don't want to lose my bet.

The Bears will take the Lions seriously.  They have lost to them and are a game behind them in the standings so they have to.  This doesn't guarantee a win though.  A lot of the "NFL experts" are picking the Bears to win and they normally seem to lose when this happens.
