My car doesn't play cassettes. My DVD player doesn't play VHS tapes. My DS doesn't play GBA games (or at least a few of DS's don't). So why should the PSV automatically play PSP games? The arrival of the PSV doesn't stop your PSP from working. If you want to play Crisis Core, bring your PSP. I carry my 3DS and PSP in a little (okay, not so little...) wallet when I can't decide which games to play. It's no big deal. Plus, I quit buying UMD's almost instantly when I began downloading titles from the PSN. If you can play your old games on new hardware, be thankful. That's awesome of Sony, Nintendo, or Microsoft. If you can't, so what? That's life. I swear, some of the things we gamers complain about.... |
Great post!
I also stopped buying UMD's shortly after the majority of games became available on PSN for purchase. Out of the 20+ PSP games I own, maybe 4-5 are on UMD.
