I wonder if it is cheaper to make a 2D game nowadays than a 3D one? Mario games for example. Nintendo seems to have found a way to make games on the cheap, yet make big money off of them.

Of course if it cost the same as 3D then this is not the case.

well, certainly nintendo saves a lot on voice actors

You know what? I wonder how much they actually save? Mark Hamill must charge a pretty penny to do his voices!

i don't think Mark Hammil gets much more then the average voice actor rate these days. Star Wars was a long time ago, and they don't actually advertise the games with his name.

He became "that guy who does the jokers voice."

Now he doesn't even do that anymore. They put his picture on a lot of those Star wars books as well. Wonder if he gets anything from that?

definately. i am not trying to say he is a poor man, i suppose he makes a comfortable living, probably above average compared to other actors, but nothing compared to the popular stars who are sometimes hired for hundreds of housands of dollars to speak two sentences in a pixar movie.

i would actually be interested who has a higher average wage for voice acting, him or nolan north

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
