For a DS game, a 70 Percent is not that bad. So if you are looking for this game on the go this Christmas, it might be a good one to pick up.

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3: Defiance DS review Whenever each new Call Of Duty game is released on home consoles it's inevitable that the DS version, released on the same day, is roundly ignored by most. It's a shame really because these handheld titles, developed by n-Space, are usually decent little games in their own right.

This year the game in question is Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3: Defiance, a shooter with a unique storyline set during the same time period as that of the console games.

As with the other DS Call Of Duty games it pushes the hardware to its limits with detailed environments and oodles of in-game speech. The limitations of the DS are made more apparent when you start playing however as the AI is fairly atrocious and enemies don't react very realistically when shot.

Air support areas - where you move around with the D-Pad and tap on the touch screen to tell ground units where to move - are sluggish and limited, but these niggles aside it's a half-decent DS shooter with some fun online multiplayer for up to six players.

It's just a shame n-Space wasn't ready to make the step up to the 3DS yet because the added power could have made this one truly special.

THis is wrong, N-space wanted to develop for 3DS, Activision told them no.  They were forced to stick with 3DS
