Now it makes sense. MS plans to soak up as much profit this holiday with the current prices. They do the price drop Spring next year now that the holiday season is over and sales drop to normal levels. All as a means to get as much post holiday sales as you can until...........the next gen begins the next holiday.
Speculation on rumors offcoruse, but it explains why MS let this holiday go so easily.
