What about Operation Darkness? You can kill not only a very realistic, 3D Hitler but his pet dragon, too. Of course, I think the impossibly shitty camera made it difficult to tell what was actually going on, so it kept the Germans from getting mad (I know, I know... Hitler was actually Australian). And the game sold like 3 copies, but still, it is a good example of how a video game can show the hidden truths of history.
