| Shinobi-san said: Some sales of very old games makes no sense :/ A game like oblivion, sells over 20k! but infamous 2 a new release is around the 10 - 15k mark. Ive got no issues with a older game selling better than a new release, but even if i wanted to buy oblivion now, i wouldn't be able to find it in the stores. And chances are infamous 2 has very visible shelf space not to mention availability. So i don't see how this is possible. |
If my memory serves me correct they had an Oblivion GOTY version , then followed that with another one with all the dlc and it's cheap , also it's a big enough name for people to still be keen enough to try it out even though it's been out for ages, then theres the boost you tend to get from the imminent arrival of the next game . Still I would Like newer Games Like Infamous 2 to sell better.
