yes cod is bigger in america which is the xbox's strongest area but have you seen these sales the past few weeks emeaa > america total sales so i wouldn't count out emeaa having a bigger hand in these totals and remember cod is becomming more popular on the ps3 and the difference between the sales of both versions are becomming smaller i expect mw3 to only be around 1.6m ahead of the ps3 version this time around.

but you cannot think that cod will be enough to help xbox win! especially with coloured silver and white limited edition consoles all over emeaa and Uncharted 3 and Final fantasy? and i doubt a multiplatform game that only outsells the ps3 version by 2m is going to be enough, although if they had have released the star wars console even though it cost so much, xbox would have smashed it in

Holidays haven't started, that's why EMEAA is still combined above Americas. That will change as soon as MW3 releases.

MW3, per console sold, is actually becoming even more popular on 360 then PS3, so any boost PS3 gets from the game will still be offset by the larger boost the 360 gets. Sale between games are getting smaller because the difference in hardware is geting smaller compared to the total number of systems, but the 360 version will always be better selling.

Oh those coloured PS3's are releasing outside of Japan?

360 has Forza, Gears, Halo, and Kinect to drive sales this fall, and americas region sales are most affected by holiday sales. So yes I think 360 will beat PS3 in the next 9 weeks, but not by too much IMHO. UC3, Colours and FFXIII-2 release in Japan won't be enough to offset the normally higher sales of 360 in the coming months, MW3, Black Friday, and 1 more Halo.
